In March 2012, the I-Lab published successfully two articles in peer-reviewed books. The first article focuses on the internet of things as enabling technologies to develop “pay-per-risk” pricing models in the insurance economics. The article was accepted at the MMS conference within the german MKWI conference series and published in the “Handelsblatt”-ranked Lecture Notes in Informatics proceedings.
The second article focuses on an assessment of current prevention technologies in the cargo/logistics field with a technology-based portfolio approach. The article was peer-reviewd and accepted for the book “Supply Management Research”, published by Springer-Gabler. In parallel, we presented this research at the scientific symposium of the German Association of Sourcing and Logistics.
